Target audience: Frontline workers and managers – those working with victims, families and perpetrators of domestic abuse.
Learning Objectives:
- To raise awareness of what FGM is, the harms and the reasons why it happens.
- Recognise warning signs that FGM is either planned or has taken place.
- Identify professional responsibilities, best practice for opening up conversation and encouraging disclosure, and routes to support.
- To share lived experiences of FGM and of the work of Women of Grace.
