Restitute provide trauma-informed support to third-party victims of sexual and violent crimes. Their clients include parents of child survivors of CSA, partners and spouses of victims of rape and sexual assault, and those disclosing historic abuse for the first time. They also work with siblings and other family members too, the list is not exclusive.
They provide free practical, emotional and therapeutic support to anyone who finds themselves in a caring role in the aftermath of a serious sexual or violent crime, including those fleeing domestic abuse. They are conducting outreach in all quadrants of Essex, funded as part of the Essex County Council community carers fund.
