Migrant Help is rolling out a new service supporting vulnerable EU citizens in applying for the EU Settlement Status.
EU citizens and their family members living in the UK need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme before 30 June 2021. This will ensure that their rights are protected and they can continue living in the country after it leaves the EU.
Migrant Help can advise and give information on applying to the EU Settlement Scheme including:
- What the EU Settlement Scheme is
- Criteria that need to be met
- How to make an application
- What documents are needed to apply
- Types of status people may be eligible for
- Completing application forms
The service is available to people from the following groups:
- Gypsy/traveller and Roma communities
- Vulnerable individuals
- homeless
- elderly
- people with disabilities/serious health conditions
- victims of domestic abuse
- victims of modern slavery and human trafficking
- young adults who are leaving care
